1. A CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN A DIGITAL AGE? Psalm1:1-3, 11Gen 39:8,99:11
A Christian youth in a digital age is a young person that is born again and uses the technology available in his time to glorify God.
God made you a youth in this generation to accomplish a purpose; therefore, you have a divinely appointed destiny.
2. TRIALS BEFORE A CHRISTIAN YOUTHS IN A DIGITAL AGE 1Cor 10:31-33
The challenges faced by Christian youths today are many which include; secular culture, social media influences, anti-christian culture, technology, distractions, lack of discipline, peer pressure (ie sexual purity Pressures and moral purity pressure) etc.
3. THE CORRECT USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA BY CHRISTIAN YOUTHS IN A DIGITAL AGE2 Tim 1:3-8.
It is now a well known fact that the digital age has come to stay and it is even increasingly advancing daily to an extent that we now have aritficial inteligence (AI) competing with man or complementing man's work/effort. The Christian youth should however use the internet only for
A. Community Building/
Educational Enhancement
B. Positive Influence
C. Evangelism
D. Shearing of uninsitful, unhateful and truthful information.
4. DEVELOPING CHRISTIAN YOUTHS IN A DIGITAL AGE2 Tim1:1-3,10,15-19,21-26.
It is important for you to know O Christian youth, that you are not the first to face what you are encountering today, others have also passed through this stage of life and overcame with distinctions, their testimonies will help you greatly and as you prayerfully study the lives of these Bible character may The Lord help you imbibe the godly virtues you need in other to walk through life as an overcomer and be who God has designed to be as well as standing out as an good example to generations yet to be born in Jesus name. The characters and their virtues are
A. Courage like David in 1sam 17:12,32,36-37
Courage is something more than the daring bravado of a superhero.
B. Faith in God like the four Hebrew children in Daniel 1:8, 3:16-18; 6:22.
Faith in God can help you overcome trials and temptations.
C. Fidelity and chastity like the four virgin daughters of Philip Acts 21:8,9
D. Honesty like Joseph in Gen 39:8-9
Honesty who rejected the advances of Portipher's wife for God's sake and for the sake of his integrity before her husband.
E. Humility like our Lord Jesus Christ in Phil 2:5-10 who though equal with God the Father accepted the similitude of man to glorify God and save man from eternal doom
F. Kindness and friendliness like Jonathan and David in 1Sam 18:1, 20:42.
G. Obedience and Love like God's love for the world making Him willing to give His obedient Son who agreed with his father's will to die in our place. John 3:16,17
H. Loyalty and dependability like the three Hebrew children in Daniel 1:8,17, 20.
May the Lord God helping us fulfill your days to his glory on Jesus Christ name.
